How I Started
I was born and raised in Houston, Texas.
I began acting in middle and high school. At the time I treated it more as a hobby, something to keep me occupied after school.
When I graduated, I pursued a degree in biology with a focus on animal studies. After a year away from home and managing mental health, I decided to pursue other goals.
During my gap year, I attended private voice over lessons with a local radio personality. I realized I could pursue voice acting as a potential career path, so I sought out more lessons. The advice I received most often was “learn to create characters.” Given my history with theatre, I decided to return to the stage to further develop my skills.
I graduated from Southwestern University with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and have since been acting on stage in the greater Houston area.
My approach to voice acting draws upon the character and script analysis skills I apply in my professional career. Understanding the character’s motivations, opinions, and stakes is key to convincing dialogue.
I strive to bring the same quality work I deliver on stage to behind the microphone.
